Duskcam · Last updated: November 7, 2026
The short version: Duskcam processes your camera, microphone and photos entirely on your iPhone. Nothing you capture is uploaded, and we collect no personal data.
The camera image is processed live on your iPhone to brighten and clean it. The microphone is used only to add sound to videos you record, and only if you allow it. Nothing is streamed, uploaded or analyzed off the device.
Your captures are saved inside the app on your iPhone. If you turn on Save to Photos and allow access, a copy is added to your photo library (add-only — the app can't read your existing library).
On supported iPhones, the LiDAR or TrueDepth sensor measures distance on device. Depth data is never sent anywhere.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple; we never see your payment details. To verify purchases and restore them across devices we use RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase history and basic device information (such as iOS version and country). This is not linked to your name or used for advertising. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Duskcam has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking SDKs.
Settings and your captures are stored locally and are removed when you delete the app (copies you saved to Photos stay there).
Duskcam does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
